Year 4
Welcome to Year 4 at Elsley Primary School, where pupils continue to expand their knowledge and skills, building on the solid foundation laid in earlier years. This year, children tackle more challenging concepts in Maths and English, and explore a broader range of topics in subjects like Computing, French, and Design Technology. We focus on developing pupils' critical thinking and collaborative skills, encouraging them to work both independently and as part of a team. Year 4 is also a time when children grow in confidence, becoming more self-assured and ready to take on new challenges.

Reminders
- PE is on Mondays. Children should come to school in their PE kit and wear it all day.
- Please make sure your child has a named water bottle in school every day. Some of the children have identical unnamed bottles.
- Please bring a suitable coat and make sure that it is named.
- Please name cardigans and jumpers.
- Children should bring a school book bag or a small rucksack to school for transporting reading books and parent letters.
- Please ensure children do not ride scooters and bikes within the school grounds.
