Year 6

Welcome to Year 6 at Elsley Primary School, a pivotal year as pupils prepare to transition to secondary school. In Year 6, children consolidate their learning across all subjects, with a strong focus on achieving their best in the Key Stage 2 assessments. We encourage pupils to apply their knowledge in more sophisticated ways, developing their analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills. Year 6 is also about celebrating achievements and preparing for the future, with opportunities for leadership, reflection, and personal growth. We are proud of how our Year 6 pupils mature into confident, capable, and well-rounded individuals, ready to embark on the next stage of their educational journey.
